Who we are

Verahm is a digital Christian ministry project focused on Scripture, prayer, meditation, reflection, and spiritual growth. For privacy questions, contact privacy@verahm.org.

Our privacy commitment

Spiritual reflections, prayers, personal notes, and voice recordings are deeply personal. Verahm does not sell personal information, does not use private prayers or journal entries for advertising, and does not publicly share prayer requests or reflections unless you intentionally choose to share them.

Data we collect

Depending on how you use Verahm, we may collect account information, profile details, login method, time zone, language preferences, spiritual focus areas, reminder settings, Bible activity, saved verses, bookmarks, progress, prayer sessions, reflection sessions, journal entries, and support messages.

• Account information such as name, email address, authentication credentials, profile photo, and preferences.
• Prayer, reflection, and journal content you choose to create, save, edit, delete, or share.
• Bible reading and listening activity, including opened books, chapters, verses, sessions, bookmarks, notes, streaks, and completion history.
• Device and technical information such as app version, operating system, approximate IP-based location, diagnostics, crash logs, and performance data.

Audio and voice data

Verahm may include Bible listening, prayer playback, meditation audio, generated audio, and optional custom voice features. If personal voice features are offered, Verahm will ask for consent before recording or processing voice samples. You should only create a voice profile using your own voice, and you may request deletion of your custom voice profile.

AI processing

Verahm may use artificial intelligence for prayer generation, reflection clarification, meditation guidance, devotional suggestions, Bible session personalization, text-to-speech, or optional custom voice generation. Content submitted to AI-powered features may be processed by third-party AI service providers to provide the requested feature.

AI-generated content is not Scripture and should not replace personal Bible study, pastoral guidance, church community, professional counseling, medical care, or emergency support.

Donations

If Verahm accepts donations, we may collect donation-related information such as name, email address, donation amount, donation date, payment confirmation details, and donation history. Payment details are handled by third-party payment providers. Verahm does not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Verahm may collect and use push notification tokens, reminder preferences, delivery status, and notification interaction data. You can turn off notifications through your device settings or inside the Verahm app.

How we use information

We use information to create and manage accounts, provide Scripture and listening features, generate prayer and devotional content, save reflections and journals, personalize spiritual sessions, track progress, send reminders, process donations, respond to support requests, improve reliability, detect misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Third-party services

Verahm may work with trusted providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, email, push notifications, analytics, crash reporting, payments, AI, text-to-speech, audio storage, and support tools. These providers may process data on our behalf according to their own terms and privacy practices.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not sell your prayers, reflections, journal entries, or voice data.
• We do not use your private spiritual notes for advertising.
• We do not treat AI-generated content as Scripture.

Your choices and data deletion

You may be able to edit your profile, change Bible version and voice preferences, manage notifications, save or delete prayers, reflections, journal entries, bookmarks, and highlights, request a copy of your data, delete custom voice data where available, or request account deletion.

To request account or data deletion, use the account deletion option in the app if available or email privacy@verahm.org. Some information may be retained when required for legal, security, fraud prevention, donation records, tax, accounting, or operational reasons.

Security and retention

Verahm uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards such as encrypted connections, password hashing, access controls, monitoring, data minimization, and secure deletion where appropriate. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect information responsibly.

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide Verahm services, maintain accounts, support saved prayers and progress, improve app functionality, process donations, handle support requests, and meet legal or security obligations.

Children's privacy and international users

Verahm does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information without proper consent, contact us. If you use Verahm outside the United States, information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

Privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, object to, or withdraw consent for certain data processing. To exercise privacy rights, contact privacy@verahm.org. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
